I posted this question before but I want as much advice on this as possible.

There’s this guy who has a crush on me but he is too shy to ask me out. Recently, I have started hanging out with this exchange student and we are just friends. But the whole school had thought that we were going out. A teacher today even asked us if we were together.

But we are not.

What should I do?
I mean… I want him to ask me out but he is really REALLY shy. I see him talking to his mates about it. When he is in the same class as me. They keep asking him if he’s asked me out yet he keeps saying “no not yet”…
I can lip read very well and the way he looks at me and then glances away kind of gives it away. What should I do? Ask him out? Tell him that he should ask me out?

So the real question is…
How can I tell him that I will go out with him if he asks without telling him that I know he likes me?
