Voting Question: How can I limit the internet speed that a laptop uses on my wireless network?. I have a Dlink DI-524 router?

I need to limit my exchange students speed that his laptop uses. I have had a look around at my router settings but it seems I can only allow & disallow MAC & IP addresses onto my network, whereas I would like to limit the speed. If you can help me directly my msn is andrewjohn9@hotmail.com .

Voting Question: How do I start a student textbook exchange website?

Jan 31, 2008 @ 04:26 am by

Does anyone know of easy to use software to serve this function?

I’m wanting to start a website where students can post book(s_ for sale, buyers can purchase the book(s) through my website, and then the buyer and seller merely exchange the book. This would be locally done, only at my college.

I’m looking for easy-to-use software for this with shopping cart functionality.

Thanks for your help,

Zac Neefe

Resolved Question: Best High school foreign exchange programs?!?

Jan 31, 2008 @ 02:33 am by

I am going to be an exchange student for my junior year of high school.

I am looking to fid out which are the better foreign exchange programs and which arent and are worth the money. ?

I am leaning torwards going to Italy. I
I sort of wanted Iceland but, they aren’t very flexiable to vegetarians.
but I am in french 2 and by the time Id go Id be in french 4 , obviously Italy doesn’t speak french, but yeah.

My top few choices

Italy
France
Wallonia (french speaking Belgium)
England

any recommendations? which out of these would you think are better for myself? I really want to go to Italy the most.
Or any opinions on Exchange orginizations for highschoolers?

Voting Question: University in Europe?

Jan 30, 2008 @ 04:13 pm by

I’m an American exchange student in Sweden right now and I already finished school in the US. People here have been telling me to stay here for university (they’re free). My Swedish isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely improving, so I would be able to take courses in Swedish.

How hard would it be to get accepted in a Swedish university?
Costs and living?
Is there any scholarships or anything for foreign students?
Visa?

With all the processes, would it be easier to just stay in the US?

Thanks everyone.
