Our high school foods class is having a korean unit, because we have a korean exchange student…..which actually makes no sense, because the girl has never cooked in her entire life! she has no tips for us, because she had all her meals cooked back at her home. so far, everything we have made has tasted nasty. maybe its just because we dont have the taste for that type of food. but does anybody no any good recipes….maybe some deserts?…..something without rice and not so spicy hot!?

There are these foreign exchange students who i introduced my friend to and her roommate. now the F.e.S’s only invite my friend and her roommate to do things with them, but not me (well, actually it may be more that the roommate calls them ALL The time to do things, and I am not friends with the roommate). I am over the fact that I am not invited, but I still do hang out with a couple of the F.e.s.’ (they all live together). so, i was with one of the girls and she says that even though the guys go out with my friend and her roommate, all they do is badmouth them behind their backs (mostly the roommate, not my friend). do you think i should tell my friend that these guys are constantly rude about her roommate, or should i just let them be made fun of? part of me thinks i should just let it be because the roommate deserves it, but the other part thinks that i’d want to know if my supposed “friends” were always making fun of me. ugh i am mad that this is so childish, but whats youropinion

I’m a exchange student. Yesterday, my friends are talking about the prom thing. One of my friend said to my another friend ”
Ask her if she is a vegetarian, if yes, tell her to put some vegetable on the sausage.”
And they were all laugh about it. I don’t get it. Can someone explain to me. Thank you.

I just got back from a week in Mexico. While I was there I met a guy from Mazatlan, Sinaloa. To keep in touch he gave me his email but in all the packing and moving I lost it. The few things I know about him might help me find some info on him.I know he was a foreign exchange student in Minnesota. I was hoping that someone may have hosted him and could send me his info.I know is his name is Hector, he has two younger brothers, and he is 17 now. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
