Resolved Question: would this be considered “emotionally abusive” circumstances?

Jun 30, 2008 @ 03:31 pm by

I am 14. My mom has a secret sex life. She is divorced from my father and remarried. she constantly lies to me and my sister breaking our trust. While she is out having sex we are forced to babysit our brother who her and my stepdad adopted. She talks on the phone with her boyfriends in front of us and im’s him as well. She has sex toys scattered throughout the house in our view. She decided to host a male foriegn exchange student from Mexico this year who is 16 and she made constant sexual jokes directed towards the 2 of us all year. She basically encouraged me to have sex with him! She tells me about sexual experiences with doctors and college professors. And she was watching a lesbian porn film and called me and the foriegn exchange student in to watch it! I tell her that I don’t think it’s funny but she won’t stop!! Would the circumstances seem good enough for an emergency custody lawsuit to be filed by my dad?
I am having problems because I sleep too much. The doctor says she thinks that it is caused by depression and it all goes back to this.

Resolved Question: Do high school students get forced to read MADAME BOVARY (by G. Flaubert)?

Jun 30, 2008 @ 03:18 pm by

This was the plot central point as far as the white suburban teenage boy who is the host for the EXCHANGE student from Pakistan (CW: Aliens in America) in last night’s rerun - - I did read it in College French class and we watched just an edited part of the filmed version of it. . .It was funny for the episode that then the non-reader sister wanted to get PRIDE & PREJUDICE by Jane Austen banned as well (the ditzy mom then on a crusade to ban books went along) . . . Thanks for replying - - 10 points for your info about required books in High School ENGLISH and LITERATURE classes!
