I will be retiring after 20 years this coming October. I will be going to school overseas at a VA Approved University starting in the fall 2009 semester.
While this new GI Bill looks great, I have seen nothing which addresses students who attend school overseas. Will they use the Overseas Housing Allowance (OHA) to calculate living expenses as opposed to the BAH? Will they be checking the current exchange rate when making payments? Or does this new bill only apply to students attending school in the US and overseas students will revert back to the Montgomery GI Bill?
Thanks

Yesterday my girlfriend broke up with me. I really want to try to make it work, but the way things are going, most likely that won’t happen. I’m pretty upset, but i was reading some of the other questions about breakup recovery. Most of the answers said keep busy, talk to friends, etc..
Right now I guess thats really hard for me since I’m an exchange student in Japan. Right now it’s summer holidays. My host family have to work, so I’m at home alone. I don’t have many friends. I always talked to her, she made me happy. If we were both free we would hang out, etc… But now it feels like I have no one. I won’t be going to school for another 4weeks. So I can’t really hang out with friends. Plus, with Japanese people it’s easy to make a friend, but when it comes to being social outside of school.. It’s really difficult and takes awhile to get to that point. What are some things I could do at home to feel better? Any answers are greatly appreciated..
I still wanna make it work with her, but right now I don’t see that working. Not yet, maybe in the future.. For now, I want to feel better so someone help meee~

Anyone know?
I want to know somewhere fairly decent, clean, and beautiful. Any suggestions? By the way if anyone knows, how much do they check the family who will be hosting you..?

I am having a problem trying to find a song that describes how I feel. I met a German exchange student during high school and I really didnt get to know him to much then. It was not until years later that I ended up talking to him online again and we started to get close. For over the past few years we have been talking whenever we get a chance. There is an unspoken love for one another that neither of us will talk about, especially since he has a girlfriend of 5 years. To make things harder, he is one of my closest and dearest friends and in the spring will be the first time I see him after so many years. Can someone help me find a good song to help me explain how I feel????

I am thinking of being an exchange student and would like to know more about winnipeg, Is there a lot of things to do there? How are the people like? How is the weather? I have heard also that there are some tornadoes in that city , is this true? If it’s true, in which time, generally, that happens(month)? points for those who help me!
thank you ;D
