Open Question: How can I be more outgoing and flirtatious with a guy I like, without seeming like a sl*t?

Feb 28, 2009 @ 08:29 pm by

I finally like someone for the first after getting out of a difficult relationship 6 months ago (the guy was clingy, needy and depressed). It feels great to like someone again! It’s the best feeling in the world!

I like the German exchange student (we’re friends… it’s not just a, “Oh, the foreign kid is so hot!” deal). I don’t want to get into a serious relationship because he’s leaving in June, but I may want to go to Prom with him. I’m not a flirter, but I want to seem more available without seeming desperate or sl*tty. How can I do this while still demonstrating that I don’t want a serious relationship?

Open Question: Australia or Costa Rica?!?

Feb 28, 2009 @ 08:19 pm by

i plan on becoming an exchange student to one of these places. i have always wanted to visit australia and now is a great chance! i love beautiful nature, hot weather and of course beautiful beaches, which makes it hard to pick between the two. i am leaning toward australia so anything about any of these places would be greatly appreciated!

Open Question: How can I learn to be more outgoing and flirtacious to a guy I like, without throwing myself upon him?

Feb 28, 2009 @ 08:12 pm by

I finally like someone for the first time after getting out of a difficult relationship in October where the guy was clingy, needy and depressed and I didn’t like him one bit. And it feels great to like someone again! I went through a phase of never wanting to be liked by any guy ever again, and now I’m out of that. It’s the best feeling in the world.

I’m starting to like the German exchange student (I’m friends with him… it’s not just a, “Oh, the foreign kid is so hot!” deal). I don’t want to get into a serious relationship with him because he’s going home in June, but I want to maybe be “together” or go to Prom with him. I’m generally not a flirter, but I want to make myself seem more available and open to a relationship without seeming desperate or slutty. What’s the best way to do this, while still mainting the image that I don’t want a serious relationship?

It feels so great to finally like someone again!

Open Question: Forgot the name of this book…?

Feb 28, 2009 @ 08:09 pm by

I read this book not long ago… It’s a collection of poetry (and short stories too, i think), all by the same person. It was illustrated very well.
I remember there was one poem on a funny exchange student who was really small and collected odd little things… and another about a man dressed like an astronaut walking down the street… and another poem is about poems that are thrown away, which all gather into a big ball and float into the sky till they burst r something like that… and there was another story about a inner courtyard in a house…
Hope someone knows the book, thanks!
Oh, and forgot to say… this book is really mordern… If I remember correctly it was published just 1-3 years ago…
