Student Exchange Programs

im 17 and a dude.

Obama extended unemployment benefits for the 10’s of thousands of workers who got lay offs, is giving tax credits for people to upgrade windows and doors, and is giving a credit for college students to offset some of their tuition cost in exchange for community service, and some how now our country is in full blown SOCIALISM!! according to conservatives. I say move to cuba if you are so unhappy.

ok, well im planning to go into a forgein exchange program. but im having a looot of trouble trying to decide which country to go to haha. its pretty much between australia and south africa. but im open to other suggestions. i just want to go somewhere warm =p please tell me what you think and why. ooh and im from canada if that makes a difference =D thank youu!! and this might seem like a stupid question ahha but do they speak english in africa? =s or do they speak african…? thanks for answering!!

I would like to study in Paris the fall coming up. I am coming on my own and not through an exchange program. So far in my financial aid research, I do not see any French government aid that I am eligible for. Is it true that I will get no help and just get stuck taking out loans again ? I am hoping there is at least some tuition assistance..

but I always go to school and stay home that’s all

When you think american, what comes to your mind? I will be an exchange student next year in Britain and I want to know what 1st impressions will be…will it be easy to make friends or will they think negatively of me? what do u think of us?

How come every program I look at doesn’t go to the philippines?

Lets just say someone went to a circuit city right now, they could buy microsoft student 2007 which is normally $149.99 for 60% off which is like $64.00, then they COULD take the box and bring it to wal-mart and exchange it for store credit. Just say you lost the receipt. Since it has no markings on it and wal-mart sells the same exact one they give you store credit for $160 something dollars with the tax.

Then you just made around 100 bucks.

Is that illegal? What would the punishment be? Are you going to do this now?

Umm…Eagle…Wal-mart did accept it without a receipt…were you not paying attention?

i’m an exchange student. i’m in a host family, so my host sister n me r siblings, kind of relatives. she’s a junior so can take just one relative n 1 friend w/ her in the car. can I be like a relative so she can drive another friend w/ us?
