Voting Question: How do I become an exchange student in Finland!?

Mar 31, 2009 @ 06:50 pm by

Okay, I really want to go to Finland for a whole academic year, but my parents are ‘if-y’ about it. They don’t want me to get hurt. But I really want to go!

Do you know any websites or groups that could help me? Advise? Anything!?

Do i get to choose which people i will be staying with? and about an average cost for the trip and stay? sorry about the armload of questions, im just really excited about all of this! :D

Open Question: Anyone interested in paying off my $100k in student loan debt?

Mar 31, 2009 @ 04:21 pm by

I made some questionable decisions to attend an aviation school, then eventually graduated from a business school… I have a private pilots license and an array of skills. I’m seeking some adventure in my life and would be willing to listen to any propositions folks might have to pay off my loans in exchange for a term of service/ unique job opportunity etc… I am a multi-faceted individual with a diverse set of skills. I’ve been involved with considerable volunteer work including youth sports coaching and working with the United Way.

Ideas?

Open Question: I want to go on an american exchange, how do i go about it?

Mar 31, 2009 @ 03:33 pm by

I really want to go to america, the best way i see of doing it is to do an exchange kinda thing, that way my school will pay a little bit and so will the local council. I’m in England by the way. So does anyone have a school, college, anything that would accept a one/two week british student with little fuss. I’d prefer it on the east coast or something, mainly because i’ve always wanted to go to new-york but also because i have family there, anyway- i’m babbling on, does anyone know if their school, or the school near them would accept a british student, with little problems and too much paperwork.
