I am 17 years old right now and my dream was to live in the United States. I already had some experience in the United States, cuz I am a foreign exchange student right now and after 11 months in USA , its almost time for me to go back to Germany. I thought, when I finish High School in Germany , I could come back for college and then apply for being a US citizen.
I also want be a teacher and soccer coach in USA.. my dream would be to be a coach in Ford High School in Quinlan, TX, where I spend my awesome time as a exchange kid
what do I have to do?, Do I have to qualify for something?, how much time does it take to apply?
PLEASE HELP :D:D:D

I’m ranked 6th with a 4.0 because of the classes I take. Some classes at my school carry more weight than others such as high level languages or high level math. It all depends on how long you have been in the school system to gather up those credits and I transferred in freshman year so I don’t have as many as some students.

A few exchange student friends of mine are leaving soon, and I want to throw them a going away/ bon voyage party. The only theme I have in mind right now is “Desserting” Us and having a dessert buffet.

I’m planning on doing an exchange to Sweden next year from August to January but I’m wondering if that is the best country to exchange to or is there others that should be considered first? I really like how Sweden looks and sounds but there are so many other countries in Europe that are good too…

I live four plus hours away from my hometown. My sister has a foreign exchange student this year and she is participating in high school graduation before going home. I met her about three times this year at family functions. I was home in mid-May and saw her then as well. Now part of my family is saying it would be an insult if I didn’t come home again for the graduation and to say goodbye. What do you think? Similar experience?

Okay so in August I’ll be leaving to France for a year as an exchange student. I am 16 and a half years and I will stay in Arras (a small city at north). Oh and btw I live in a tropical country (no snow).
- I’ve been learning French for like 14 weeks now and I’m still struggling.
- I have bought a couple of winter coats.
- I like debating all the things around the world (I heard French people like to debate too !).
- Tickets and visa are both well prepared now.
And another question,, are most people in a small city like Arras can speak English ?

please read. everything is in present i think. is it in present? CHECK FOR GRAMMER PLEASE!
My parents declare that I’m too old to go trick-or-treating. I’m thrilled. This way I don’t have to admit that no one invited me to go with them. I’m not about to tell Mom and Dad that. Just to keep up appearances, I stomp to my room and slam the door I looked out my bedroom window; a group of kids was walking up the sidewalk. I see a pirate, a dinosaur, some fairies, and WITCHES. I stopped for a moment; the witches reminded me of last year. Last year our whole clan dressed up as witches. I didn’t want to think about this but I can’t forget those old times. I remember Rachel and I looked the best. The loud knock on my door disturbs me. I stopped staring at the window. I grabbed a book, so my parents think I’m doing something. I open the door. “What are you doing honey?” said my mom. I knew she was trying to cheer me up because she didn’t let me go trick-or-treating. I actually didn’t want to go because I had no one to go with. “Honey?” said my Mom. “Oh, I was just reading my book that I got today from the library, Dracula by Bram Stoker” I reply looking confused. “I was just checking” said my Mom as she goes back downstairs. I looked at the window again, but it kept on reminding of my ex-friends. I tried to sleep, but all the “KNOCK, KNOCKS” for trick-or-treating couldn’t let me sleep. I didn’t know what but something keeps on telling me to look out at the window, now I really want to go trick-or-treating. I couldn’t do anything; Heather is going walking with some little kids in the neighborhood, so their parents could stay home. Today I heard Rachelle talking to couple her friends about going to a party by one of her exchange students. I wish I could’ve got something like her, but my reputation is that bad that I wouldn’t get an invitation to my OWN funeral. How would I even think about getting some other invitation after that HUGE incidence happened at the last party? I guess that was my last invitation to anything!! All this thinking had to stop, or else I’ll have nightmares again about this. I go downstairs to get some water, thinking that would help me relax a bit. When I came back I jumped in my bed thinking that I’m “stupid, brainless, awful, and horrible”. I try to sleep but I can’t just sleep like that, so I started reading my book. I wanted to think positive things about me rather than negative things like I always do. After five minutes the book started getting boring, and since today is Halloween, I feel like eating some chocolates. So I get a bag of chocolates from under my bed and started eating them.

Im going to be an exchange student next year, so Im looking into getting a new camera. Both rechargeable batteries and regular batteries are fine, but regular ones are better cause the current in europe are really hard on electronics. Anyway, above all else, Im looking for something with the best resolution, the best video capturing capabilities, at the best price. Now, this probably isnt saying much, considering Im only willing to pay $200 max.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
