I need these answers pretty bad.
I can exchange for French, US History, or Biology?

Like in high school.I don’t really agree with it.the guy I like has been dating a German girl for about a month,and she’s leaving in like a month or two and it seems like he REALLY likes her.i don’t really see the point in dating an exchange student because all you’re doing is setting yourself up for heartbreak.I talked to him about it and he said that it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all,which I sorta agree with,but not when you’re from two different countries,half the world apart,it’s just not being fair on your heart…

what’s your opinion on dating foreign exchange students?

I want to be a Foreign exchange students but I don’t know what program to choose that isn’t a scam and don’t want to pay 20,000 dollars for a year to go live somewhere, And also want to know if the federal government or my State (Utah) have scholarships programs like other countries do. My GPA is a B- Average and both my parents work for the state and make alright money so I don’t think I qualify for financial assistance. Thank you so much for looking at my Question.

My 4 month exchange visitor J-1 visa was denied to travel to US, under 214b section (not enough ties to UK).

I had all the documents which were required and the supporting ones too. My current status is student. So I had letter from uni, my sponsorship letter, insurance and all that stuff.

I did not think it was going to be a hard process, because all of my friends received their visa approvals right away. Therefore, I went for the interview, waited for an hour and a half to submit my documents and after that 2,5hrs for interview.

Then I was asked: what I will be doing in US (I will be working and the maybe travelling bit, because I am in work&travel program), what kind of job will you do (I will be dispatcher/ administrator’s assistant), what do you do in UK( I am a full-time student-I handed the letter from uni) ,are you working (I used to, but it started to get in a way of my studies, so I had to stop) where i lived (with friends) where my parents live ( back in my country Lithuania) do you have any relatives in US or UK (yes I have sister who lives in UK for about 6 years now).
And bam! You are not having your visa approved.

So now I am thinking should I reapply for J-1 to get to US? I want to go there so badly, because it was my dream for such a long time and moreover all of my friends are there.

Is there possibility that second time I would be approved. I know that there have to be a change in my circumstances. So I thought as a further proof I can give is that I have a business back in my country and I am willing to go back to expand after I will finish my education. Would this work? I would get all the documents that I am the owner and director.

However, I am willing to travel to US even if I can not work, I mean I would be still willing to travel as a tourist or under VWP (ESTA). Would I be approved for these? I know that tourist visa needs interview ( the same problem with J-1) so I’d rather go under VWP. But if I was denied J-1 would I be eligible to travel under VWP?

I red that i could still apply for the ESTA, but I would be questioned when departing from UK why I was denied and therefore I should give all the supporting documents needed. And it is still a possibility that I would be denied.

So really I’d ideally try for the J-1, but am worried that another denial will make it even harder to get the ESTA or have to wait even longer before applying for it - does anybody know if this is true?

I was checking yahoo questions there were some like mine and there were answers. But still I would really appreciate if someone who asked about those denials, what did they do? And how it worked?

I want to go to Japan but I’m afraid I might fall behind if I go there. I’m in Algebra I, Earth Science, and in Advanced English at the moment (I’m in eighth grade) if I were to go to Japan in my sophmore year how far behind would I be? What if I went during my senior year? Would I be be behind when I get back to the states?

I am a college student who lives off campus in my own apartment. I have a female friend who I have known for about 2 years but we have never been intimate. We have both been in relationships and sometimes we don’t get in contact with each other for months but when we see each other, we always stop to speak. This summer, we are both in an honors program and she has her own room on campus. We text message every day…all day. The only male friends that I know that she hangs around are gay. She told me why her last relationship ended: She was at a college party and her boyfriend caught her unzipping another dude’s pants while she was close to the bathroom. She had been drinking and she said that she was just unzipping his pants for no reason and she started laughing. ***SHRUGGING SHOULDERS***. I am starting to learn how to keep the conversation going with her no matter how boring the conversation seems. This past week, I was about to go to a bar and drink and she told me that she was cold and started talking how she wish she had a friend to keep her warm, so I came over. We were both nervous that night and though we lay beside each other, we didn’t cuddle. But the next night we did cuddle and I ended up stealing a couple of kisses from her. When I’m in her room she tends to talk a lot. When I left from her room, we started texting each other again and she stated that she was going to get another kiss from me before I left but she chickened out. My real concern with this situation is that one of her old friends (female friend that is sexually attracted to me), use to tell me that she was a hoe whenever me and the girl exchanged numbers. I have not seen any signs of her being promiscuous. I always thought females who were very promiscuous tend to be very open. This female is shy and never mentioned sex. We cuddle and when we cuddle, she’ll just talk about random stuff, never sexual. What are some signs that a female could be very promiscuous? Does she seem like she is?

I noticed some men posting on my local Craigslist and other local sites complaining that single illegal Mexican immigrant men are trying to steal their wives or girlfriends, as well as other legal foreign immigrant men. And in high school, I’ve also noticed boys bullying and mocking male foreign exchange students over their girlfriends or a girl they had a crush on.

Even foreign men cock block American men too. I’ve read on here and other sites that foreign men are complaining about American men trying to steal their women, especially their wives or girlfriends.

Cock blocking/stopping is trying to keep other dudes away from your girlfriend, wife, or crush, etc.
