Open Question: Can someone help me figure out how to get tickets to Germany? ?

Jun 30, 2011 @ 11:45 pm by

So a friend of mine fell in love with the German foreign exchange student girl in our school. They dated two months before senior year ended and he has been so down since she left to go back to Germany. I’ve never seen him like this and I know how much he cares for her. My other friend is friends with the German girl and apparently she’s been the same without him too. So I wanted to surprise him with tickets to see her but I’m confused because the tickets are international.

He would be leaving from the one of the Detroit MI airplanes. She lives in Nord-Rhein Westfalen in a part called Rade. Can someone please help me!!! I’m so confused!

Open Question: Can i go to high school in japan when i’m in my late 18th year of my life?

Jun 30, 2011 @ 08:42 pm by

Hi i’m Ryan Bruinier, and i’m 17 years old.
I had some difficulties with my health so i can get my HAVO diploma when i’m 18.
And from there i want to study on, in Japan for a year (as an exchange student).
But i’ll turn 19 in on November 24th so is it possible to go to Japan High School when i’m turning 19 on the beginning of the year?
I really hope so because i really like Japan, not just because of some anime or manga but i really like the culture and just everything about Japan.

I hope to hear some advice soon, thanks for that in advance! ^^

PS: Money isn’t really a problem cause i worked as much as i could from when i was 15 till now, and my family supports me.
And speaking japanese won’t be a problem to cause i will take japanese lessons starting in a week.

Open Question: How could I approach my mom about…? What programs go to Iceland?

Jun 30, 2011 @ 08:34 pm by

I am 15, American, and female. Those are always the points brought up by my mom whenever I asked to go overseas. Now, she is applying for me a passport, and I feel like she trusts me a bit more. But I am super worried about asking her if I may go overseas for a summer. (More or less than 30 days anyway…) I’m afraid she’ll say no, because every time we have talked about it, not only does she bring up those points, she also brings up that she’ll be far away from me, that what if “this” or “that” happens. She also thinks I’ll get killed by going overseas. What I really want is not to “see” the world, but to “see” my world. I plan on going to college in Iceland. My counselor said since I plan on going overseas when I am an adult, that it would be good for me to “get my feet wet” so to speak. I totally have put myself in my mom’s shoes though, I know the risks, and yes, I could see me saying no to my child, depending on their age. But my first question; How do I ask her? Should I give her the pros and cons of it all? Should I just straight out ask her? Or should I just calm down, not be so nervous, and have a meeting with her and my counselor about it all?
P.S. I do plan on paying 1/2 and more of the trip. I understand that it will not be cheap, and it will cause my mom to rethink the whole thing as well.

Also, does anyone know of ANY exchange programs that allow 15-18 year olds go to Iceland as an exchange student for the summer? Any information you could give me would be extrememly helpful, also, any stories you would like to tell me (personal ones anyway) I would appreciate to hear them. From asking your parents, saving the money, to the actual trip.

Thank you all so much in advance! Please read description!

Open Question: How do i become a foreign exchange student to scotland?

Open Question: How should I deal with my teacher?

Jun 30, 2011 @ 05:27 pm by

I’m a freshman at highschool. When I started school I saw a very cute guy (he must be about 26) who was a teacher at the school (he isn’t really my teacher, he doesn’t teach at my classroom), we kinda liked each other, we exchanged smiles, we chatted a little bit. I’d remain there late hours after school just to get a glimpse of him. One day he saw me, halted me inside one of the rooms, picked me up and kissed me. I felt scared but could not resist, we made out for about 20 minutes. It was sweet because that day he gave me a rose and a book and said that he loved me. From then he’d send me a rose or a note almost everyday through other students but last months I fell ill (I got measles) and skipped school for more than 3 weeks. Now he’s changed, he hardly says hi to me, he doesn’t care about me at all, I would cry all day long. I learned from a classmate that he was now dating a girl from another classroom, maybe because she’s older and closer to his age but this really freaked me out. This is about a relationship and I feel so pissed off I sometimes think I should confront that stupid girl. My mom says she could go to school and tell him directly that I’m very sad and that I love him. I sometimes feel he likes that girl more because I’m fat and ugly. HE knew that I liked him and now he’s with another girl from the same school, he should be respectful at least towards the young girls who are his students, if not towards the school where he works… and if he likes me he should be with me and not with that stupid older girl.
He didn’t do anything ilegal, we just kissed and cuddled, I plan to be a virgin until I get married. So you mean he prefered the other girl because she’s older than me? Am I less of a woman than her? I’m not a stupid little girl I can think for myself and I don’t like guys my age because they only think about sex and are immature.

Open Question: I want to be a foreign exchange student in France for summer 2012?

Jun 30, 2011 @ 04:20 pm by

Any good programs out there? I look on google but I get overwhelmed and I don’t know which program to pick.

I want to experience the language, and mostly the culture and be around people that do fun stuff like party and visit places.

I’m going to be 18 in June next year. Should I just make my own trip there? I just don’t know anything about the country and want to go with a program first. Any help?

Open Question: I challenged the top sensei at red dragon karate?

Jun 30, 2011 @ 04:12 pm by

So anyway after opening a can of whoop ass on 5 red dragon karate black belts last night.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ak43RCyLqp1u2f2OmHbC4SXsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110629224626AAjp9qI the top sensei wanted to challenge me(I was eating at an Ihop across the street from rdk). he was a 9th degree black belt in mcdojo/rdk karate. he was like “So you think you’re tough shit huh? Red dragon is NOT a mcdojo” I was like “um,yes it is. you guys have B-day parties for kids and the website says Muay thai is filipino AND the base for RDK is JUDO. What kind of karate style uses judo? He then said “You,me, fight by RDK.11 A.M.” So 3 hours later I show up by red dragon karate. the 9th degree black belt then charged at me. we both exchanged punches and kicks. the RDK karate students including the black belts who got pwned(and were now bandaged up). were going “GO SENSEI WOOT”. it was like DBZ.we were both equally matched. Because of this I decided to take the fight to the ground and because of my 10 years of wrestling experience and my black belt in brazilian jiu jitsu he was easily defeated. My method was a rear naked choke and he passed out for 30 mins. this infurated the RDK students.
“How could someone defeat the top sensei?” they thought to themselves. “you mean RDK really IS a mcdojo?” “NO, I will not stand for this” then, the ENTIRE dojo attacked me. it was 50+ students and senseis some of them being children. It was a long battle but in the end I defeated them all with many cuts and bruises all over my body. My GF then drove by,came up to me, and said “what happened to you?” I then said “I don’t want to talk about it”

QUESTIONS.
1.)Why are RDK people so violent?
2.)Why do RDK people get pwned by a trained fighter like myself?
3.)Why is it so fun pwning RDK black belts?

8 years in BJJ(black belt)
6 years in muay thai
10 years of wrestling
18 years of boxing
24 years old.
