Resolved Question: Do you think I went to far by doing this? Rude foreign exchange student from China?

Hey we got a foreign exchange student from China.

At first he seemed like a very polite, intelligent guy, then he started to get a bit cocky, and it annoyed me a bit.

And then he started to get quite rude. He once told me “Hey that Mexican girl likes you, and me, but she likes a lot of below average Hispanic and black guys and only likes above average Asian and white guys” (me being Hispanic and he being Asian.)

There was also one time when he started to list the best looking guys in our class, he went up to number 5# (out of 16 in our class) and never mentioned me. I think he did this to say I ugly something.

I talked to him about this and asked him if he was trying to say I was ugly or something, he said no and I was “The best looking in our house” and said I was handsome, which was very odd.

I can bench press 155, and told him another boy can also bench press 155, he then said the other boy was quite weak for someone in track. (I am also in track and as I said before I can also bench 155.)

He made a list of the strongest guys in our class, and again never mentioned me, when making his list. I think he was trying to say I was weak or something.

Anyways,I was quite tired of keeping silent about the whole issue, so I put a picture of him on the internet and said “rate this guy out of a 10″ on a website. He got low ratings so I sent a link to his facebook, he ignored my message, and the next time I see him will be after The Christmas break. I feel really bad now.

Do you think I went to far by doing this? Your thoughts?
@ Maria

Yes but he only made lists about kids in MY class, not from his class or any other class.
@ teller of truths
Yeah well you can’t really blame America on his behavior.

Resolved Question: I’m afraid to spend the night at other people’s houses?

Dec 31, 2011 @ 04:09 pm by

I know this isn’t a proper question, but I really need help!
So, whenever my Uncle or my friends ask me to spend the night at their houses, I instantly get that “oh s***” feeling. And when I say no, I feel like I’m hurting their feelings. I will take ANY EXCUSE I can get to get out of the situation. But, for some reason, I wouldn’t feel scared at all about spending an entire year as a foreign exchange student with a family I don’t even know!
What can I do to shake this feeling? Is there something wrong with me?

Resolved Question: Teen culture of Spain?

Dec 31, 2011 @ 03:50 pm by

i have an exchange student from spain and he said that in spain there are a LOT of parties. I don’t doubt this. I’ve heard many times that spain loves to party but what are their parties like compared to parties in the USA?
Do they dress differently in spain? (Either during these parties or just on a regular day-to-day basis)

If it makes a difference, I’m more interested in the Madrid area.

Resolved Question: Help me figure out what movie this is?

Dec 31, 2011 @ 01:54 pm by

I’m trying to remember this movie. I remember there was a foreign exchange student from Cambodia that was gonna be brought over because of some project but then the money got stolen by like a director? I think. Then the kid makes a film and gets the money back and the kid says to the Cambodian kid “You better cure cancer” or something along those lines.
