Ok so this is kind of a dumb question but I want to know. So I just started dating a German girl not too long ago but she had to move back to Germany because she was a foreign exchange student at my high school for only half a year. I know Valentine’s Day is coming up, and her birthday is the day before Valentine’s Day, but since by then it’ll only be a little over a month that we will be dating, I can’t really get her a necklace like I wanted to, and I think waiting until Christmas is a little too long of a wait. So my question is, are there any holidays that are celebrated in Germany between Valentine’s Day and Christmas that is kind of like those that I could get her a necklace like I want to. Thanks for the help.

Alright. It was on TV a while ago but let me try and remember it. Any help would he really appreciated. It was about a troop in Iraq. Maybe afghanistan. He might have been a sniper if I’m still thinking of the same movie. He sees a little girl get vaporized by a roadside bomb, and you can tell he won’t forget it. He gets home and finds himself going a little insane and nobody believes him. He thinks he sees that little girl in the maze of a hospital and ends up hugging some random girl thinking it’s the one that he saw die. His son started smoking and it turns out his son murdered a middle-eastern foreign exchange student to get back at the war that his dad was in. The son burned him alive in a dumpster.
I remember the soldiers wife ended up in an insane asylum, but I don’t know why.
Anyway. I love this movie and any help would be awesome. I remember the title was really weird, almost like it was a series of movies or something. I’m not sure. Anyway thank you guys and please try to help!

I don’t care which one is cooler or easier to learn. I love both. Just deciding which one I should go with. I’m gonna try to learn about the culture and try to be an exchange student to one of the countries in high school. I like China, but like some stuff from Japan too. Which one do you think?
If you know where I could learn the language online for free that would be good too (10 points) ^_^

I’m a high school student in northern California and I need help regarding classes. I have a first through fifth period and I like all my classes except my third. I tend to get high anxiety levels in that class, and I have missed it many times regarding a specific fear. All the other classes for that subject are full, so I can not easily exchange classes without messing up my whole schedule, which will just cause more anxiety. So my question is: would I be able to take that specific class(Math) online at home during that period while all my other classes I take are at school?

My sister and I are going to Europe next year. She’s already been to France and Germany, I’ve never been out of the States.
We’re thinking of at least going to Germany since we had a German exchange student that we can stay with.
Other than that, we’re not sure where else to visit, but we’ve been considering France, England, Scotland, Ireland, and possibly Italy.
If you’ve been to any of those countries, could you fill me in on them and maybe give recommendations/advice on other countries you’ve been to?
Thanks in advance!
We’re putting a limit on two countries, so make sure to say which ones are your absolute favorite.
