Open Question: ANYONE IN AUSTRALIA! Which university would be best for an exchange student?

I’m technically a senior in high school/sophmore in college (long story–took alot of community college classes, have alot of credits, its gonna take me two years to get my bachelors degree when I transfer to the local university in the fall).
I really, really, really would like to do a semester or maybe an academic year in Australia….This idea is still kind of growing in my mind, and Im researching. It seems like a great opportunity to experience something completely different, yet not too culture shocking from where I am now.
Im researching the exchange programs available thru the Uni im going to the fall…and they have several australian universities they’re partnered with. Now as I scroll thru and begin reading about them, I figured I’d ask people who actually live there: which of this list of universities in australia would be best for an exchange student?
–University of South Australia (Adelaide)
–Flinders University ( Adelaide)
–University of Newcastle (New South Wales)
–James Cook University (Townsville)
–Curtin University (Perth)
–University of Murdoch (Perth)
–Northern Territory University (Darwin)

If it helps any…Im a small town kind of girl. Nothing against big cities, and would be willing to live in one, but would prefer a smaller city. Also…Though Ive been raised in a place where the temp never exceeds 60 degrees farenheit…I LOVE TO BE WARM!!!!! COMPLETE DESERT RAT! Which of those cities has the lowest cost of living?
