I am a rising senior in high school in the class of 2010. I recently visited Brown University and fell IN LOVE. If anyone can tell me if I have a chance there, I would greatly appreciate it! And if you can, please recommend any other schools that might be a better fit.

Here are my stats:

Academic
-GPA: 4.0 (weighted 4.480)
-Class rank: 6th out of 370
-SAT: 2080 (CR-700, M-680, W-680)
-ACT: 32
-Course Load: Full IB student (6 IB courses plus TOK, an extended essay, and community service)

Extracurricular
-Interact Club (I was the secretary in 2007-08 and the President 2008-09 and 2009-10)
-Beta Club
-NHS (Treasurer for 2009-10)
-French Club
-Foreign Language Club (started the club and was later the President in 2007-08)
-Member of a prestigious local dance company throughout high school(6-14 hours per week)
-Started a non-profit business selling t-shirts to raise money for established charities (Yes, it is a real business with a tax ID # and bank account)

Honors
-Identified as a top student in the state of Georgia
-Asked to be a member of the pre-professional division of a local dance company (2006-07 and 2007-08)
-Recognized as a Rotary Student of the Month 3 times
-Recipient of a Rotary Scholarship
-Top Ten in my class

Other activities:
-Mission trip to Ghana (2007)
-Foreign Exchange Student to Switzerland to speak French (summer of 2008)
-Community Service trip to a Conservation Base in Peru (summer of 2009)
-Summer program at Brown University for Leadership (summer of 2009)

Thank you for your help!
I’m ranked 6th with a 4.0 because of the classes I take. Some classes at my school carry more weight than others such as high level languages or high level math. It all depends on how long you have been in the school system to gather up those credits and I transferred in freshman year so I don’t have as many as some students.
