Student Exchange Programs

I’m an Italian student. Could you correct this letter of application for FCE exam? Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing with reference to your advertisement, which I saw in the Language&Fun on Thursday 17 September and I would like to apply for a place on a course at your Language School.

I am a seventeen-year-old Italian student and I have been studying English for ten years. Since that, I believe I possess quite good communication and logical skills.
With regard to the course, I would prefer to attend a daily English class with exchange students of my same age. In addition, I would be really pleased if I could do practical experience with excursions, besides theoretical lessons.

My ambition for the future is to become a professional surgeon and English will be of vital importance if I undertake a work experience in a foreign country.
