Student Exchange Programs

I read this book not long ago… It’s a collection of poetry (and short stories too, i think), all by the same person. It was illustrated very well.
I remember there was one poem on a funny exchange student who was really small and collected odd little things… and another about a man dressed like an astronaut walking down the street… and another poem is about poems that are thrown away, which all gather into a big ball and float into the sky till they burst r something like that… and there was another story about a inner courtyard in a house…

Oh, and forgot to say… this book is really mordern… If I remember correctly it was published just 1-3 years ago…
