Student Exchange Programs

Im a freshman who transferred from community college to a college far away from home mid semester. At first I knew it would be hard to make friends, but it’s been a month an I haven’t really made any friends. I’ve gotten involved in a TON of clubs and so I do club activities. But besides that I haven’t gotten invited to any parties or anything. I know people from the clubs sort of but outside of them I don’t have friends really. I eat alone for pretty much every meal. I am in a Facebook group thing that was meant for international exchange students (it’s a long story why I’m in it but I’m a domestic student) so sometimes I do the events for that group. But outside the Facebook group I don’t do anything else with them. How can I make friends outside these groups to go shopping with and maybe even get invited to a party?
