Student Exchange Programs

So I have an exchange student coming in 3 weeks. I have opted to givin him my bedroom to stay in. He will be here for about 3 weeks. I will be stayin in an empty room down stairs. What things should I have in my “temporary” 3 week bedroom. Like types of furniture etc. I was going to buy some cheap funiture from IKEA, but I’m not sure what to buy. Any idea’s?
