Student Exchange Programs

After my exchange year i’d like to stay and continue studying here, either I will have to repeat a year in High School or I can go to a College.
Does somebody know which Colleges are accepting this kind of students, or at least does somebody know how I can figure out/find those Colleges? No specific city, although i’m in Seattle atm.
