Student Exchange Programs

So .. I’m trying to get into a foreign exchange student program … but I don’t know what programs are really good out there. I’m hoping to get foreign exchanged in Japan at Fujisawa HS and also to be a host family. (: Also, I’m not too knowledgeable about foreign exchange student program … but just making sure … all programs still have the work you do at the foreign place you’re staying at as high school credit, right? (:
