Student Exchange Programs

how come when foreign exchange students think of our highschools as the way they see it in the movies. some foreign exchange students came to my school recently and they have they’er mind set on popularity and that the way they dress and look is very important. they do naturally set trends the, selves bit copy other people to become “cool”. me personally i think thats pathetic. yeah sure they are pretty nice and im not hating on them or any thing its just that WHY. the sad part is that instead of making friends and being leaders they just follow people around and become lamb being herded by some wanna bes. the question is, why dont people naturally become leaders?
