Resolved Question: Why does he act this way with me?

This is going to sound like a silly question but I’m being quite serious.

I’m close friends with my swim coach, who I take individual lessons from. We get along just great and he is just the funniest guy ever. We exchanged e-mail addresses and phone numbers and have been out to get a quick bite in the past, but please no nasty comments. If anything, we are only friends and student-coach.

He’s actually a soccer player and has this indoor soccer get-together every Sunday. Anybody is welcome from beginners to advanced but almost all the people that come are advanced really rough players and are all guys.

Anyway, one of my gf plays soccer (she’s better than the guys) and she invited me to come on Fridays since a lot of beginners are over there. To be honest, I suck at soccer. So I went and I had fun. Then, my coach found out I went so he invited me to his Sunday class. He told me to come early so he can teach me. So I did and I had fun. The week after, though, I went a bit late and he looked really disappointed. He was nice, though. He ended up kicking the ball to me so hard it hurt! So the week after, which was yesterday, I went and got there like 5 minutes after. Not everybody was there and he looked so annoyed like he didn’t want me there. I played but I noticed that more new guys came in and I was so lost the guys kept laughing at me so I ended up quitting in the middle and left. I felt really bad but I thought it’s for the better if I get out. I told my coach and left.

So I went to swim and about 30 min later my coach shows up at the pool as a life guard, which was weird because he never does that. We saw each other but he didn’t bother saying hi or anything so I also didn’t say anything and left after finishing my laps. Now I don’t know whether to feel bad or what. I was unsure whether he wanted me to play soccer anymore and I keep wondering why he looks so annoyed when I show up. Why is that? And no, I am not a minor.
